There are no manuals that say what to do to the objects that she finds everywhere and that she undoes from the common idea inventing for it new habits, attitudes and meanings. Priviledged are poor materials, objects by others abandoned and found again full of meanings to be revealed. In her hands common bits of stuff are reborn to a new life and new transformations. No new or old categories exist but everything is coloured in novelty. Here, that the rational sense of what’s useful loses any barrier to then become a simple breeze of basic esthetic pleasure. But, also in doing such the opposite way, Elvezia hides pre-though forms in new possibilities inventing objects on the verge of reality, experimenting unimaginable materials in this rediscovered versatility ...
